The beginning
The past few years have been a journey, sometimes into the unknown and the difficult, but always something worthwhile in the end.
Beginning 7 years ago, I quit my job (a well paying, steady one at that), got together with a friend and within a week had put in all my savings into setting up a small, (with a very bare office) but yet my OWN business.

3fifths was the name of this little enterprise of ours, I really can't remember how we decided on that name but hey, it was different and till this point in time people still become quite inquisitive about our name and how we came about it, always a good ice-breaker for me with all my clients strangely!

We started off designing websites and providing an ex-boss of mine (ex-ex-boss actually) a complete web-based set-up of this...well...MLM scheme with a twist to keep it simple!

Things were good, we had a big office with room enough for 15 - 20 people, having just two desks and us two people in it, but we were happy!

Things were good, things were bad,  ups and downs were always there.

In fast forward mode, down a few years me and my colleague parted ways, he had his own thing to do and I totally got that.


The here & now

During the years Viaduct was formed as a separate creative design & development solutions provider and now all our business goes by that name.

3fifths (soon to be changed to just "3") still remains as a creative design company(Updated: 3fifths was closed down and now all business is done by the name of VIADUCT) for print plus some other services and now we're on the verge of setting up a SaaS company if all goes well by the name of Qooik.

All these companies, even though run by just a handful of people (who at times even go back and forth between them since we're just crazy like that) are now to be part of Flagship, which will work as an umbrella corporation for 3fifths (no longer active), Viaduct, Technopreneur Asia (a web based Technopreneur community and more that we're hoping to set up) & last but not least, Qooik, our SaaS company of sorts.

Recently we added a new aspect to our business by creating suite401 - a premium co-working space.


The future

Thought nobody knows what the future holds, one can always plan for it, work towards it and hope that all goes down well.

As the Flagship "mantra" (as Guy Kawasaki would put it) says, we hope to make "the future, simplified", for our customers, for us and all companies within.

The future is now.....and now.............and now..............and now....and now....well, you get the point!
